Description:
Standards are now in place to help end-users understand the useful operating life of the LED devices. However, an LED luminaire is a system with many components, each of which can affect lifetime. This presentation will help attendees understand why a system-based approach is necessary when considering LED luminaire lifetime. The speaker will discuss typical areas of failure for LED luminaires as well as steps contractors can take to ensure greater reliability in the products they purchase from luminaire manufacturers.
